Testimonials
Sam's MotherWe were privileged to meet Blayke in mid 2023. Our son, Sam, was paralysed on his right side and unable to talk as a result of an AVM that had haemorrhaged. We were looking for assistance in supporting Sam to and from physical therapy, assisting with his gym workouts, and assisting with personal care.At the stage when Blayke joined us, Sam did not go out socially and was nervous in public. Blayke encouraged Sam to venture out into the community through visiting coffee shops, galleries and museums, musical and sporting events, etc. This helped Sam’s confidence to really grow, and he began to eagerly await sessions with Blayke. He enthusiastically joined in with ball games, riding his Airlinker walking bike, and taking supported steps in public.Additionally, given Sam and Blayke’s shared love of music, Blayke introduced Sam to a computerised music program where he assisted Sam to write his own music. It was delightful to see how being able to create something that Sam felt had real value, became a positive and uplifting activity that transferred to other areas of Sam’s daily life. Blayke also led some simple cooking activities with Sam where they found recipes and made a meal which they then shared with the family. This worked to help grow Sam’s independence, a long-term goal that he is keen to achieve.Blayke is reliable, caring, and trustworthy. He is committed to making every session meaningful, ensures he is aware of what the client wants to achieve, and works with a considered approach towards assisting them to reach their goals. - Sam's Mother
John Lonergan - Director Inclusive Sports CoachingI have seen Blayke work with clients with a Disability and provide a great mix of physical support, mentoring and friendship. Blayke has also shown flexibility in working with clients in regard to the time he spends with them and activities he supports them doing. I have received positive endorsements from Parents/Caregivers of his clients saying Blayke has a great influence on their child and has a friendly and easy going demeanour.
